Good morning Team Rainbow. I thought I would give a quick update.
My wife is continuing to improve, albeit very slowly. It is a very difficult time for her as she is used to running around and being mentally agile. Wading through treacle on some days, as she puts it, is very frustrating. I believe she is slowly recovering but doctors have indicated that it will be the New year before she is back to "normal." She is driving short distances but still sleeping a lot.
At this point I intend to return, post signals and be trading from the New Year. I will then be able to focus my mind on the relatively mundane task of forex trading. I am sure you understand that things change when serious events occur that remind you of your true priorities. I have always thought that it is a shame that unforeseen things need to happen in order to bring us back down to Earth but I guess that's human nature. Often, matters of a financial nature take far too much of our time and effort. After all, you arrive with nothing and leave with nothing.
In preparation for the day when I eventually was going to hold seminars, I had written quite a lot of the the preamble. One point I was making was to get everyone to question why they were setting out in forex to earn some money. I believe that you need goals, whether it be to make enough to take more holidays, to build a nest egg for retirement or to build an inheritance for your kids or to give you more time off work, etc. If your answer was to make a few pounds extra, it would never work. The reason being that you weren't focussed enough; you had to be doing it for what the money could bring you, rather than the money itself.
Five years ago when I started doing this, my reason was to give my wife and I time together without the constraints of a 9 - 5 working existence where we waved at each other in the morning and fell asleep over TV dinners in the evening.
I must get back to my initial priorities and will do so in the New Year; I may hold seminars and return to calmer, less time-expensive signal generation criteria which will be much easier for all.
I will try to update you before Christmas. Enjoy the pre-Christmas build up.
