US stocks did what is becoming usual; sell off in the last hour. This is slightly worrying and puts questionmarks over the previous day's rally. Yen carry trade is holding its own, content to watch the tennis match between the bull and the bear; trying to decide when to jump if the bull wins or which is the quickest route to the toilet if the bear wins.
Today's economics: UK retail sales at 9:30am, US CPI (inflation) and Empire State business conditions index at 1:30pm.
