Good morning Team Rainbow. Looks like Black Monday reanactment is possible. Sometimes everyone talks themselves into making it happen. The S&P is at 1528 (right on the cliff edge again), the dollar has well and truly dropped its trousers, growth slowing, the R word in vogue. It will either be grim in the next day or so, or the springboard to go buy crazy. I will be VERY careful about trades today.

Today's economics: UK GDP at 9:30am, CAD CPI (inflation) at 12 and Bernanke is speaking at 3pm. Also the blessed G7 hot-air fest is on this weekend. Currencies go crazy before and after this usually, as finance ministers talk about dollar weakness, yen carry trade, blah, blah, blah in between their R & R, great food and wine.
