Good morning Team Rainbow and welcome to another glorious day.

Today's economics give centre stage to the Bank of England at 12 and then the ECB at 12:45pm with their interest rate announcements. ECB President Trichet is speaking at 1:30pm and US factory orders are out at 3pm.

Bearing the above in mind, Cable will most likely be the mover of the day.

The stock markets are beginning to look a bit "toppy" again. Short positions may pay here. This would, if normal links are maintained, lead the yen carry trades lower. Watch this space.
