IMPORTANT NEWS

Hi everyone. I am back from London following yesterday's seminar. Many thanks to all those who attended and made it such a success. Any queries that anyone has please just email me.

I am finalising on Monday the brand new online conference room where I will be live trading the signals generated by my systems. This will enable all who join the conference room every day to copy my trades live as they happen!!

I will post details tomorrow (hopefully).

Better late than never, the signals for Friday were:

S3 SYSTEM I

Sell GBPUSD @ 1.9420, close at 2 pip profit
Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9440, 20 pip profit
Sell EURJPY @ 155.50, 30 pip loss,
Buy EURJPY @ 155.80, 15 pip profit
Sell GBPJPY @ 209.20, 40 pip profit
Total 47 pip profit, or £252.
S3 SYSTEM II
Sell GBPUSD @ 1.9413, close at 4 pip loss
Buy EURJPY @ 155.81, 30 pip loss
Sell EURJPY @ 155.51, 20 pip profit
Buy GBPJPY @ 208.90, 40 pip profit
Total 26 pip profit, or £96.
The live trading facility looks exciting. I'll post details tomorrow.

Friday, 8 February 2008

Good morning Team Rainbow. I am off to London to day so won't be trading. I will post signal details later. The markets attempted a rally last night, we shall see if it lasts.

No economic releases of import today.

Thursday, 7 February 2008

Unfortunately I didn't trade today; had to take Mrs R to opticians. The signals were as follows:

S3 SYSTEM I

Sell GBPUSD @ 1.9590, 20 pip profit
Sell EURJPY @ 155.60, 30 pip loss
Buy EURJPY @ 155.90, 30 pip loss
Sell GBPJPY @ 208.40, 40 pip profit

Total break even. Actually, if you had traded only the 1st signals from each pair (something I recommend in the seminar this weekend) then you would have made a profit of £100.

S3 SYSTEM II

Sell GBPUSD @ 1.9575, 20 pip profit
Sell EURJPY @ 155.62, 30 pip loss
Buy EURJPY @ 155.86, close @ 155.90, 4 pip profit
Sell EURJPY @ 155.58, 20 pip profit
Sell GBPJPY @ 208.30, 40 pip profit

Total 54 pip profit, or £340.

All these signals will be demonstrated at the seminar on Saturday.

I will be travelling up to London tomorrow so won't be trading; I will post signals later in the day.
Good morning Team Rainbow. Stock markets fell away again last night, but the yen carry trade is proving to be remarkably resilient. Perhaps it will give in one almighty push lower. Today will be coloured by the interest rate statements due out from the BOE and ECB at 12 and 12:45pm respectively. The only other items on the agenda today is the UK industrial production figures at 9:30am and the US new home sales at 3pm.

Wednesday, 6 February 2008

Gruelling day today. One of those days when you grind your teeth!! I suffered 2 losses, but one of them I disputed with cmc as per my charts the price shouldn't have clipped me out at a loss (price didn't reach the stop, including spread). That trade was a win not a loss, but as you can guess cmc won't change anything - the loss stands. As I stop at 2 losses, it meant that other good trades went by.

Anyway, the signals today:

S3 SYSTEM I

Sell GBPUSD @ 1.9630, 20 pip profit
Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9590, 20 pip profit
Buy EURJPY @ 156.00, 30 pip loss
Sell EURJPY @ 155.70, 20 pip profit
Buy GBPJPY @ 208.60, 40 pip loss
Sell GBPJPY @ 208.20, 60 pip loss

Total 70 pip loss, or £200 (GBPJPY stakes are less) loss. Incidentally, if you were setting your daily target at 40 pips (ie, once achieved, no more trades are taken) which is something I recommend at the seminar on Saturday, you would have closed the first GBPJPY trade above at a 20 pip profit and realised your daily target of £400. You wouldn't have registered a loss on that GBPJPY trade and you wouldn't have taken the 2nd one.

S3 SYSTEM II

Buy EURJPY @ 156.04, 30 pip loss
Sell EURJPY @ 155.49, 20 pip profit (but made a loss of 30 per cmc!!)

Total 10 pip loss, or £100.

Not a good day today, but we should all realise that can happen and is a cost of success in the long run. That said, I could have done without the cmc bandits!
Good morning all from a soaked Dartmoor. The stock markets took a pounding yesterday with the Dow down 370 points. Yen carry trade (which looks mortally wounded from it's highs last year) fell in unison. I have a feeling that we are watching the early days of a bear market in equities, but another leg up might be needed before a bigger fall confirms. Highly unusual to have a bear market start in a US election year. I guess the tax handouts and panic cuts in interest rates are trying to keep Bush's successor in the White House. It's the economy, stupid, I think was the phrase. Like trying to keep all the spinning plates in the air; unfortunately someone keeps adding more plates. There's a limit before something crashes.

Today's economics: US non-farm productivity at 1:30pm.

Tuesday, 5 February 2008

Back home; these were today's signals (I only got 1 winner before I went out!!):

S3 SYSTEM I

Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9740, 20 pip profit
Sell GBPUSD @ 1.9720, 20 pip profit
Sell EURJPY @ 158.20, 20 pip profit
Buy EURJPY @ 158.00, 20 pip loss

Total 40 pip profit, or £400 (2%).

S3 SYSTEM II

Buy GBPJPY @ 211.49, 40 pip profit
Sell GBPUSD @ 1.9707, 20 pip profit

Total 60 pip profit, or £400 (2%).

Have a good afternoon.
Cagey market today. There have been 2 signals so far, both in Cable (GBPUSD), 1 long and 1 short. I managed to get one of them (finishing seminar); the short one. Off out again, will give full report later. Nice to have 20 pips in the bag though.
Good morning all to this super Tuesday. US stock markets took a slight breather last night although after the big run up in recent days that isn't surprising. Everything "feels" like it wants to go higher but that, as you know, can all change in an instant.

Today's economics: UK Halifax house price index at 8am and then the PMI at 9:30am. This afternoon we have the US ISM index at 3pm.

Monday, 4 February 2008

Ok, today's signals were:

S3 SYSTEM I

Sell GBPUSD @ 1.9740, 20 pip loss
Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9760, 20 pip profit
Sell EURJPY @ 158.20, 30 pip loss
Buy EURJPY @ 158.50, 20 pip loss
Buy GBPJPY @ 210.40, 40 pip profit

Total 10 pip loss, or £300 loss (as GBPJPY stakes are half) which is 1.5%.

S3 SYSTEM II

Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9705, 20 pip profit
Buy EURJPY @ 158.40, 20 pip profit
Buy GBPJPY @ 210.33, 40 pip profit
Buy EURJPY @ 158.38, 20 pip profit

Total 100 pip profit, or £800 which is 4%.

Overall an OK day; 2.5% return but I expect S3 System I to start improving this week.

Photocopying done; I only grabbed 16 pips as you know, but that still equates to 16% a month (I was in seminar-mode). All signals today produced overall 2.5%, which would equate to 50% a month! All these signals will be the subject of the seminar at the weekend; they are precise set-ups and not tricky once you know how. There is one space left if anyone is interested. It is guaranteed; if you don't make 20% return from the signals during the following month, I'll refund the cost to you.

Have a good day.
Lots of good signals today, but as I was tidying up seminar notes, etc I only managed to grab 16 pips on a long EURJPY trade. There have already been signals in GBPUSD, EURJPY and GBPJPY; all long and all winners. I am out photocopying now so will give full report later!
Good morning Team Rainbow; I trust you all had a good weekend (even the Welsh amongst you). This morning I will be putting the final touches to this weekend's seminar in London. Hopefully I might get some trading in as well!! As usual, I will post signals that have occurred for both systems at around midday or so.

Markets face a make or break week. Relatively light in economics this week, but we have the interest statements from Bank of England and the European Central Bank on Thursday.

Today's economics is only the US factory orders at 3pm.

Friday, 1 February 2008

As mentioned earlier, NFP day is the one day in each month that I prefer not to trade. Experience has taught me it can be a nightmare. Today was no exception; tight range trading, which makes whipsawing between losses very likely. Also, today we had the excitement of Microsoft announcing at 11:30 it was going to buy Yahoo. That put all the yen carry shorts up the creek!!

In the circumstances, if you were desperate to trade today I would have recommended you to take 1st trades only (as the morning wears on it gets closer and closer to NFP!). That will all be explained at the seminar. From the charts, you would have won on 2 out of 3 from S3 System I and 2 out of 3 from S3 System II. That would equate to £100 profit on each system. If you were silly/greedy and carried on trading all morning, you would have lost about £200 on each system.

Make a mental note out there; on NFP day either take the day off or cut your targets/trades.
Good morning Team Rainbow from Dartmoor. No snow yet.

Looking at the currencies overnight, the yen carries (and Cable) are all in tight ranges, awaiting the NFP today. In fact EURJPY has moved from one side to the other of a 50 pip range 6 times since yesterday evening. Tricky to trade this morning. If I was trading I wouldn't want to be holding any open positions at 1:30pm when the NFP comes out.

Today's economics: UK Manufacturing PMI at 9:30am, the biggy - US non-farm payroll at 1:30pm and ISM manufacturing index and consumer sentiment at 3pm.

Thursday, 31 January 2008

Morning's over; today's signals were:

S3 System I

Sell GBPUSD @ 1.9870, 20 pip profit
Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9880 20 pip profit
Sell EURJPY @ 158.40, 20 pip profit
Buy EURJPY @ 158.20, 20 pip loss
Sell GBPJPY @ 211.60, 40 pip loss
Buy GBPJPY @ 212.00, 40 pip loss

Total 0 pips, or break even financially today.

S3 System II

Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9887, 20 pip profit
Buy GBPJPY @ 211.93, 44 pip loss
Sell GBPJPY @ 211.49, 60 pip loss
Sell EURJPY @ 158.36, 20 pip profit
Sell EURJPY @ 158.08, 20 pip profit

Total 44 pip loss, but a financial profit of £80 (stake sizes less on GBPJPY)

A very poor day.
Good morning Team Rainbow from a blustery rain swept Dartmoor. Is the snow comin'?

The Fed caused a massive whipsaw, up nearly 300 on the Dow and then back down again to close down on the day. Looks ominous. Remember what happened when the Fed slashed rates to 1% in 2000 (the dotcom bubble) to stave off recession; the stock markets bottomed in March 2003. The yen carries have understandably gone back to the map to make sure they took the right turn; can't find the signpost at the moment.

Today's economics: US Core PCE and personal spending at 1:30pm and Chicago PMI at 2:45pm.

Wednesday, 30 January 2008

Today's signals were:

S3 System I

Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9910, 20 pip profit
Buy GBPJPY @ 212.60, 40 pip profit
Sell EURJPY @ 157.50, 20 pip loss
Buy EURJPY @ 157.70, 20 pip profit

Total 60 pip profit, or £300 (assuming capital of £20k and 1.5% risk per trade)

S3 System II

Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9904, 20 pip profit
Sell GBPJPY @ 212.18, closed at break even
Buy GBPJPY @ 213.08, 40 pip profit
Sell EURJPY @ 157.46, 30 pip loss
Buy EURJPY @ 157.79, 20 pip profit

Total 50 pip profit, or £300 (same assumptions as above)

Have a good afternoon.
Good morning Team Rainbow. The markets are in hold-mode, awaiting the Fed's statement tonight. I expect to see some major movement one way or the other after 7 tonight.

Apart from the fed at 7:15pm we have the US ADP non-farm employment change (an indication of the NFP data on Friday) at 1:15pm and the US GDP at 1:30pm.

Tuesday, 29 January 2008

Today's signals were:

S3 System I

Sell EURJPY @ 157.60, 20 pip profit
Sell GBPUSD @ 1.9850, 30 pip loss
Sell GBPJPY @ 211.60, 60 pip loss
Buy EURJPY @ 157.50, 20 pip profit
Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9880. 20 pip profit
Buy GBPJPY @ 212.20, 40 pip profit

Total 10 pip profit, £200 profit (as losses on GBPJPY are at half stake of other pairs)

S3 System II

Sell EURJPY @ 157.20, 30 pip loss
Buy EURJPY @ 157.65, 20 pip profit
Sell GBPJPY @ 211.43, 60 pip loss
Buy GBPJPY @ 212.26, 40 pip profit
Buy GBPUSD @ 1.9876, 20 pip profit (a lucky result!)

Total 10 pip loss, but break even financially (as losses on GBPJPY are at half stake of other pairs)

So a pretty uneventful day overall. One system produced the equivalent of 1% return (still would be 20% a month) and the other a break even position.
Good morning all. Markets look a bit range-bound, possibly until the Fed pronounces tomorrow evening. It feels like they want to go higher but after such recent turbulence a bit of treading water might be good.

Today's economics: US durable goods orders at 1:30pm followed by US consumer confidence at 3pm.
